About the role

Role Overview

Join node.energy as a Senior Python Developer (w/m/d) in an in-house development team. You will take ownership of tickets end-to-end and help the team with code structure and software architecture, enabling the fast delivery of robust features for the opti.node SaaS product.

Responsibilities

Own the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment
Plan and design technical implementations for new product features
Ensure high code quality through implementation, code reviews, and creative solutions
Act as a technical expert for the development team and the Product Owner on engineering topics
Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to solve new challenges

Requirements

8+ years in software development, including 5+ years in web applications
Very good programming skills and strong technical understanding
Strong grasp of software architecture
Fluent German (company language)
Ability to write technical documentation in English

Nice to Have

Experience with the stated tech stack (particularly Django or Litestar, Redis, PostgreSQL)
DevOps knowledge: Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with managed cloud platforms: Azure and/or AWS
Interest in staying up to date with modern/state-of-the-art technologies
