Role Overview

Senior Python Developer (Permanent, Remote)

Work on a core platform that collects, manages, and delivers detailed vehicle information to car buyers and dealers. Build and maintain backend endpoints and features across the API and other supporting technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop RESTful web services using Django and Django Ninja
Build and maintain API endpoints and related backend features
Perform data processing and ETL tasks
Use Pandas for data cleaning, analysis, and visualization
Help manage, maintain, and grow relational and NoSQL databases
Create and maintain a pytest-based test suite for the REST API
Participate in system design discussions and engineering processes

Requirements

Senior-level experience as a Python Developer
Strong experience with data processing, ETL, and Python-based data manipulation
Proficiency with MySQL and Django or FastAPI

Preferred Qualifications

Automotive industry experience
Knowledge of Kafka
Experience with Pandas

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated salary range: $135,000 – $145,000 annually
