Senior Project Manager - Software Development

Role Overview

Senior Project Manager (Software Development) providing delivery leadership across multiple complex software initiatives. This is a remote US role for candidates based in Eastern or Central time zones, with ownership over outcomes from early planning through deployment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple software projects end-to-end on time, on scope, and aligned to real business outcomes
• Bring clarity to ambiguity by translating goals into executable plans, milestones, and priorities
• Build trust with engineering teams, product leaders, and stakeholders through clear communication and follow-through
• Adapt to shifting priorities, evolving requirements, and new technologies while maintaining momentum
• Own outcomes (not just tasks): step into details when needed and lead at a higher level when required
• Improve delivery processes by introducing smarter planning, better visibility, and pragmatic process improvements
• Use modern tools, automation, and AI to improve forecasting, reporting, and decision-making

Requirements

• Experience leading multiple complex software development projects in fast-moving environments
• Ability to operate without rigid playbooks; tailor approach to team/product/context
• Ability to learn new domains and technologies quickly and apply learning in real time
• Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
• Demonstrates strong personal ownership for delivery results and team success

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 plus eligibility for bonuses
