Senior Project Manager - Scrum Master

Role overview

Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master for Marketing Operations, supporting US Consumer Marketing at Citi. Lead Scrum teams using Agile practices to plan, coordinate, and deliver marketing campaigns across multiple internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and execution of large, multi-phased projects with external dependencies, ensuring delivery against scope, quality, time, and cost.
• Lead Scrum teams and run daily standups, weekly meetings, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate across teams to set campaign timelines, ensure deliverables are on track, and raise risks/red status items to management.
• Engage appropriate stakeholders/team members to resolve or clarify issues that could impede execution.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure campaigns are designed and executed to meet business goals.
• Build campaign schedules, apply critical thinking to identify/mitigate issues, and assess impacts to protect overall campaign integrity.
• Collaborate with business partners to execute initiatives that drive acquisition growth and customer engagement.
• Make data-informed decisions and manage issues through to resolution.
• Identify and assess risk for business decisions; escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency and in line with applicable policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business Administration, MIS or equivalent) or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in Marketing and retail bank/financial services industry experience.
• Strong attention to detail, advanced project management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Scrum Master certification or similar Agile project management certification.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with workflow tools and Agile software: Aprimo, Jira (also listed: Confluence, Trello).
