Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

Senior Project Manager focused on SAP ERP (Procurement) implementations, working remotely in EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee large-scale procurement and systems implementation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Manage the full project lifecycle: initiation, resource planning, risk mitigation, and closure.
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Procurement).
• Manage external vendors and implementation partners.
• Identify innovation opportunities in procurement workflows and drive improved policies and best practices.
• Align project objectives to organizational goals and provide regular status dashboards/analytics to executive leadership.
• Establish project governance, facilitate steering committees, and motivate teams in a matrix environment.
• Partner with operations to develop training plans and documentation to support user adoption and sustained project benefits.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project management experience leading complex, large-scale projects in procurement, finance, or system implementations.
• Advanced expertise in procurement lifecycle (Source-to-Pay) and financial concepts (e.g., ROI, budgeting, cost control).
• Proven experience leading ERP/procurement platform integrations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Coupa.
• Experience managing multinational projects across time zones and cultures.
• Strong influence/engagement skills; ability to communicate complex updates to senior executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification required.
