About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead multiple mid to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects for the RDQA Analytics Center of Excellence (ACE). The ACE team builds and scales organizational capabilities by delivering tools, systems, workflows, metrics, and data-driven solutions that support corporate and Quality goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and deliver large-scale, cross-functional, potentially multi-year initiatives that are strategically important.
  • Apply project management best practices and provide strategic input and technical expertise across RDQA functions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, consistency, compliance, communication, training, and effective change management.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation, standardization, harmonization, and productivity.
  • Act as the central communication conduit for transparency, clarity, and alignment across project teams.
  • Define project representatives, governance model, engagement timing, and cross-functional involvement.
  • Perform research, data analysis, and root cause investigations to identify process gaps, operational risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for medium-complexity initiatives (processes, systems, analytics).
  • May mentor/train employees and contractors providing administrative/coordination support to optimize time and resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10–15+ years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical research and/or the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong ability to influence teams, facilitate decisions, and drive progress in collaboration with appropriate stakeholder involvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership across diverse functions.
  • Experience using proven methodologies, such as:
    • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
    • Lean Six Sigma (LSS)
    • Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
    • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Consultative, analytical, and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and solution design.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and business relationship management.
