Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

Bold Penguin is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery for strategic and enterprise customer accounts. You’ll run the delivery process, manage the client relationship, and own the commercial details from kickoff through launch by partnering with engineering, product, and partnership teams.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end customer engagements from kickoff through implementation, UAT, and launch, aligned to scope, timeline, and budget
• Act as the primary point of contact for strategic/enterprise accounts; lead client meetings, status reviews, and quarterly business reviews
• Partner with engineering managers, solutioning leads, and product to translate customer requirements into well-scoped epics and stories
• Broker tradeoffs between scope, timeline, and engineering capacity
• Contribute to business requirements definition, drafting, and solutioning with customers/product/engineering to turn ambiguous needs into actionable specs
• Support an agile delivery cadence (standups, sprint planning, grooming, retros)
• Maintain dashboards and reporting to keep customers and internal teams aligned
• Manage scope changes, change orders, escalations with Partnership, Legal, and Finance; stay aware of SOWs, milestones, and invoicing
• Build and maintain program master schedules, budgets, risk logs, and delivery assets (playbooks, decks, templates)
• Deliver routine status updates to customers and executives using data for decisions and to unblock the team

Requirements

• 7+ years in project/program management delivering customer engagements on time, on scope, and on margin
• Proven experience owning strategic or enterprise accounts with executive-level stakeholders
• Hands-on agile experience with deep working knowledge of Jira (boards, workflows, dashboards)
• Ability to collaborate with software engineering teams and translate between technical and business audiences

Nice to Have

• Insurance industry experience (carrier, broker, MGA, or Insurtech)

Work Location

• Fully remote, with the exception of onboarding and optional in-office events
