Senior Program Manager

Role Overview

Senior Program Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise rollout of AI-based internal tools and platforms. This highly visible role drives adoption, execution, and organizational change across multiple business units and a large end-user base.

Location / Contract

• Remote (excluding CA, NY, OH, TN, CT)
• 12-month contract (W2 or 1099 only)
• Travel required to Virginia for the first 5–6 months during training

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide deployment and adoption of AI-based internal tools and platforms
• Drive rollout efforts across multiple business units and 30,000–40,000+ users
• Manage and lead a team of approximately 15 resources
• Oversee monthly and bi-monthly product releases and ensure smooth organizational adoption
• Develop and execute change management plans focused on:
  • practical adoption
  • measurable usage
  • behavior change
• Partner with leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders to align rollout strategy
• Address user resistance and adoption barriers
• Ensure integration and sustained use of new AI capabilities
• Act as a liaison between strategic leadership and delivery teams

Required Qualifications

• Active or eligible for Public Trust clearance
• Strong background in enterprise program leadership and large-scale technology adoption
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, high-visibility initiatives
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Can operate at strategic and executional levels
• 7–10+ years experience in program management, transformation leadership, or consulting delivery
• Proven experience leading large deployments and adoption initiatives across 30,000–40,000+ users
• Experience managing teams / direct reports
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder influence across levels
• Partnering experience across:
  • executive leadership
  • engineering/technical teams
  • product/operational stakeholders
  • end users/business teams
• Strong change management execution focused on adoption and rollout success
• Technical fluency/depth (examples): cloud architecture exposure and/or engineering background; former developer/technical leadership experience
• Experience leading product adoption/enablement, customer success, or enterprise implementation at scale
• Ability to lead in ambiguity and drive execution in a complex environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in federal/government environments
• Consulting or large-scale enterprise transformation background
• Experience with AI-driven tools/platforms or enterprise AI rollouts
• Experience from transformation-heavy delivery teams (e.g., large consulting firms, enterprise technology organizations)
