Role overview

Senior Program Delivery Manager (Senior PDM) is a senior individual contributor responsible for end-to-end delivery of Emeritus’ largest and most complex senior executive program within the SEPO (Senior Executive Program Office) portfolio. The role includes owning program outcomes across multiple cohorts and serving as a peer coach and role model for other Program Delivery Managers.

Responsibilities

End-to-end program delivery: Own delivery of a large, multi-cohort 6–7 month learning journey for hundreds of senior leaders and CXOs.
Program lifecycle ownership: Lead pre-launch readiness, kickoff, live sessions, capstones, electives, and on-campus programming.
Program health & outcomes: Track and improve completion rate, engagement, learner satisfaction, and escalation resolution.
Program economics: Manage budget, course leader spend, and cost-to-deliver; partner on forecasting and reporting.
Risk management: Act as the owner when delivery is off-track—surface risks early and drive resolution across functions.
Learner experience & engagement: Set and uphold the learner experience standard for executive-level cohorts.
Engagement design: Design and run high-impact engagement across virtual and in-person touchpoints, including live sessions, guest speakers, networking, and Slack communities.
Learner retention interventions: Identify at-risk learners early and personally drive targeted interventions.
Feedback loops: Capture learner feedback systematically and translate insights into program improvements.
Peer coaching & enablement: Coach Program Delivery Managers; influence delivery standards, SOPs, and quality playbooks across the portfolio.

Requirements

Deep experience leading complex programs end-to-end at scale, including managing delivery without a direct team.

Ability to operate effectively across university partners, executive-level learners, and global cross-functional teams.
Strong coaching/enablement mindset to elevate delivery excellence across the PDM group.
