About the role

Role overview

Join Guild Education as a Senior Product Operations Manager (AI & Systems). You will build and refine operational systems, strengthen AI-enabled workflows, and optimize R&D processes, while aligning teams and measuring the impact of process improvements.

Key missions

  • Design and refine operational systems: Create and improve AI-enabled tools and workflows that make product and engineering teams more effective.
  • Prototype and validate AI/automation solutions: Build, test, and measure AI workflow prototypes before wider rollout to streamline operations.
  • Audit and improve R&D processes: Identify friction points, map system dependencies, and implement scalable improvements.
  • Drive cross-team alignment and rollout: Coordinate process changes across teams and lead implementation of improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Product Operations, Engineering Operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining roadmaps, priorities, and process changes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to build or improve operational systems for technical teams.
  • Technical fluency with an understanding of technical concepts and tools.
  • Hands-on AI & workflow automation experience (using AI tools to prototype or automate workflows).
  • Experience evaluating and implementing tooling ecosystems.

Nice to have

  • Background in product management or engineering (desirable but not required).
