Senior Product Manager, Workday Financials

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager, Workday Financials will act as the business partner and technical owner of Agero’s enterprise Procure-to-Pay (P2P) ecosystem. The role bridges Finance teams and the Workday Financials technology stack to deliver scalable, compliant, automated financial workflows from Requisition to Payment.

Key Outcomes & Responsibilities

• Ecosystem Strategy & Roadmap
  • Own and evolve the end-to-end product vision for the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle.
  • Translate complex Finance needs into a prioritized roadmap, balancing operational fixes with enterprise initiatives (e.g., touchless invoice processing, advanced claims payment rules).
• Workday Financials Architecture & Optimization
  • Serve as the functional SME for Workday Procurement and Supplier Accounts.
  • Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday updates and semi-annual releases to ensure continuity and adoption.
• Process Engineering
  • Architect Workday workflows that reduce end-user friction while maintaining strict financial controls.
  • Identify systemic bottlenecks and reduce approval and payment cycle times.
• Training & Communication
  • Deliver training, demos, and product updates; communicate changes, features, and operational benefits to stakeholders.
• Financial Systems & Performance Monitoring
  • Monitor post-launch performance against business outcomes.
  • Define success metrics and maintain a feedback loop for iterative improvements.
• Automation & Innovation Leadership
  • Drive automation across the financial stack, including Automated Payment Rules, supplier punch-outs, and OCR tool integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level process breaks.
• Stakeholder Integration
  • Partner with Sourcing, Accounts Payable, and Expense Audit leadership to define advanced supplier requirements and workflows.

Requirements

• Functional ownership and product roadmap responsibility for Workday Financials within a P2P (Procure-to-Pay) domain.
• Ability to lead Workday configuration, testing, and release deployment (including semi-annual updates).
• Strong workflow/process engineering skills to automate financial workflows while maintaining controls.

Nice-to-haves / Additional Signals

• Experience implementing touchless invoice processing, automated payment rules, and supplier punch-out capabilities.
• Familiarity with integrations involving OCR tools.

Location / Travel

• Role is based in the United States.
• For technical roles, initial onboarding may require travel to Medford, Massachusetts.
