Senior Product Manager

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager for Walrus’ flagship DoubleCheck product. You’ll join the core team and report to the Head of Engineering. As a senior product role in an early-stage environment, you’ll drive product impact beyond writing specs—shaping strategy, engaging customers, and partnering closely with engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive flows for new authentication, payments, reputation, and related capabilities
• Develop product strategy from deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and company vision
• Collaborate with developers to scope, prioritize, and ship new features
• Create clear product specifications for internal and external audiences
• Lead technical product conversations with customers about capabilities, requirements, and fit
• Represent DoubleCheck at industry events, conferences, and with the press
• Sketch and iterate wireframes as needed to support product design and alignment

Requirements

• Strong UX/product design sensibilities, including ability to sketch wireframes
• Proven track record of shipping features that deliver business value
• 3+ years of product management experience with full product-line responsibility, ideally in B2B SaaS
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in technical contexts
• Experience gathering and synthesizing customer feedback to guide decisions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup with high autonomy

• Technical background or ability to engage deeply in technical discussions
• Experience managing technical roadmaps and resource allocation across multiple workstreams
• Proven ability to bridge product and engineering functions, particularly in early-stage companies
• Comfort making decisions with limited data using both evidence and taste
