Senior Product Manager (Video)

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager for Motorola Solutions’ Video Security & Access Control division. You will own a strategic product area end-to-end, lead continuous discovery, and drive an AI-native product strategy by defining vision, outcomes, and measurable metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Own responsibility for a strategic product zone: define vision, establish results, and co-lead the product roadmap with engineering.
• Lead continuous discovery: run customer interviews, observe real-world workflows, analyze usage data, and synthesize insights.
• Partner with engineering and design to go from problem → solution, make intelligent scope trade-offs, manage complexity, and ensure shipped work solves real customer problems.
• Define and own metrics frameworks and use data to drive prioritization and investment decisions.
• Influence across the organization (engineering, sales, marketing, leadership) and raise the bar for the product team.

Requirements

• Proven track record owning complex product areas end-to-end and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to influence without authority across engineering and business stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring/coaching other product managers.
• Strong customer discovery skills translating qualitative + quantitative insights into product strategy.
• Strong written and verbal communication; can present product strategy and rationale to senior leadership.
• 5–8 years of product management experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software.
• Technical fluency to engage with engineering on architecture, system design, and trade-offs.

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with video surveillance, video analytics, or physical security.
• “Vibe coding” capability to rapidly create AI-generated prototypes and iterate.
• Product leadership integrating AI/ML capabilities with measurable results.
• Understanding of the physical security ecosystem (installers, integrators, end-user workflows) across verticals like retail, education, healthcare.
• Experience with cloud + on-prem hybrid and migration from legacy to cloud.
• Multi-sided ecosystem experience (partners/installers/integrators/end-users).
• Technical background (CS/engineering or similar) and/or deep API/platform knowledge.
• Experience operating in an outcome-driven, autonomy-and-accountability product org.
