Senior Product Manager (Video)

Role overview

Senior Product Manager (Video) owning the VMS product within Motorola Solutions’ video platform. You will set the product vision and roadmap, lead continuous discovery, define metrics, and influence strategy across engineering and the wider organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own a complex/strategic product area end-to-end: define vision, establish measurable outcomes, and drive the roadmap with engineering.
• Lead continuous discovery: run customer interviews, observe real-world workflows, analyze usage data, and convert findings into well-formed problem statements.
• Drive AI-native product strategy: define how AI and analytics capabilities are integrated into the video platform and help evolve from basic video management to intelligent security workflows.
• Define and own product metrics frameworks; use data to prioritize and guide investment decisions.
• Influence cross-functionally without authority (engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership).

Requirements

• 5-8 years of product management experience (SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software).
• Strong technical fluency to collaborate with engineering on architecture, system design, and trade-offs.
• Demonstrated ability to own complex product areas end-to-end and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Proven customer discovery expertise and ability to translate qualitative/quantitative insights into product strategy.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting strategy and rationale to senior leadership.
• Experience mentoring/coaching other product managers.
• Experience defining product metrics frameworks and using data for prioritization.

Preferred/nice-to-have

• Experience with video surveillance, video analytics, or physical security.
• Understanding of the physical security ecosystem (installers, integrators, and end-user workflows) across verticals such as retail, education, or healthcare.
• AI prototype capability (rapidly stand up AI-generated prototypes and iterate).
• Ability to work in cloud + on-prem hybrid environments, including migration from legacy to cloud architectures.
• Multi-sided ecosystem experience (partners, installers, integrators, end-users).
• Prior AI/ML product leadership with measurable results from AI-driven features.
• Technical background (CS/engineering or similar) for deeper system/API/platform collaboration.

• Full remote (listed with Waltham, MA, US).
