Senior Product Manager

Role: Senior Product Manager (Healthcare SaaS)

You’ll join a growing healthcare SaaS team to help improve healthcare outcomes through strategic, user-focused product management. The role drives digital product development and enhancement for healthcare providers, payers, and patients while ensuring solutions are compliant, scalable, and impactful.

Responsibilities

• Healthcare + compliance product thinking:
  • Apply knowledge of clinical workflows and terminology to translate them into product requirements
  • Account for patient safety and data privacy (PHI)
  • Maintain working understanding of HIPAA and other relevant compliance standards
• Strategic product planning:
  • Align product vision with business goals and market needs
  • Build and prioritize a product roadmap based on impact, feasibility, and compliance
  • Identify market opportunities and reduce risk using experimentation, voice of customer, and competitive research
• Technical/product integration awareness:
  • Understand software development processes and Agile methodologies
  • Work with healthcare SaaS platforms (e.g., EHRs, telemedicine tools)
  • Ensure interoperability with legacy systems and existing healthcare infrastructure
• User-centric discovery and delivery:
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to refine requirements and shape the value proposition
  • Partner with design to deliver intuitive, accessible, and compliant user experiences for complex clinical workflows
• Cross-functional leadership:
  • Serve as the bridge between engineering, design, clinical experts, and compliance
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery through delivery (refinement to launch)
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders; align teams on goals and manage expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Health Informatics, Engineering, Life Sciences)
• 4–6 years of relevant product management experience
• Data-driven product management approach; AI/ML proficiency
• Proven track record launching and iterating digital products
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams (engineering, design, clinical, compliance)
• Agile experience managing product backlogs using Jira or Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Gainsight)
• Ability to interpret healthcare data to inform strategy
• Experience partnering with legal/compliance during product development
• Ability/willingness to travel up to 30%

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with EHR systems, clinical workflows, and health data standards (HL7, FHIR)
• Exposure to compliance frameworks such as HIPAA and GDPR
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (Pragmatic Institute, General Assembly, etc.)
• CSPO or PMI-ACP
