About the role

Role Overview

Join Tango as a Senior Product Manager, acting as the sole PM alongside a senior design team. You will own the roadmap for a platform spanning documentation, in-app guidance, and automation, and lead MCP and agent-platform work—bringing AI to customers in ways that are actually useful. You report directly to the CEO.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

Own and steer the roadmap for the platform (documentation, in-app guidance, automation)
Lead MCP and agent-platform initiatives, delivering practical AI capabilities to customers
Run a continuous discovery cadence and maintain a strong voice-of-customer internally
Turn user requests into well-defined, needed outcomes (product decisions driven by discovery and data)
Lead with clear written and verbal communication, aligning executives, engineers, and customers around a coherent narrative
Maintain relentless follow-through across multiple projects and close the loop
Make sound calls under ambiguity, adapting when data indicates course changes

Requirements

Deep customer discovery experience: strong evidence from real user conversations
Exceptional communication skills (structured direction; alignment across stakeholders)
Data-driven product instincts: product analytics fluency and comfort designing experiments
Ability to self-serve and use the data needed to make decisions
Senior product presence: confident judgment under uncertainty and willingness to adjust based on data
Track record of scaling software products people genuinely love
7+ years in software product roles
Experience at two or more companies/products
Low ego, high motivation, and practical preference for shipping the right small thing
Desire to build a product function (standards, rituals, ways of working)
Serious curiosity about customers and metrics (why changes happened)
Take AI seriously as a practitioner (not hype-driven)

Shipped AI-powered products or experience building with MCP
B2B SaaS experience serving self-serve and enterprise buyers
Growth/monetization experience (pricing, packaging, trials)
Experience mentoring/coaching others
