Role overview

Senior Product Manager – AI & Inventory Management at Sortly. You will evolve Sortly’s core inventory management platform into an AI-powered intelligent inventory operations experience for SMB customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI product roadmap (1–3 years) for AI-powered inventory management, balancing customer needs, market opportunities, and business goals.
• Define and prioritize high-impact capabilities, including:
  • inventory forecasting & replenishment
  • smart inventory insights & workflows
  • automated reconciliation and reporting
  • AI-driven workflow guidance
• Lead end-to-end product development for major AI initiatives such as predictive inventory recommendations and workflow automation.
• Write detailed PRDs with jobs-to-be-done, user stories, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and AI-specific requirements.
• Partner with engineering, design, and data science to scope features, manage technical tradeoffs, and maintain delivery velocity.
• Launch on aggressive timelines while ensuring quality and measurable impact on retention, expansion, and operational efficiency.
• Become an expert in customer workflows through deep research across multiple verticals (construction, field services, manufacturing, medical).

Requirements

• Experience shaping and delivering B2B SaaS product roadmaps and major initiatives end-to-end.
• Strong product sense and ability to write execution-ready PRDs (JTBD, user stories, acceptance criteria, success metrics).
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineering/design/data science and drive AI-specific product requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience or strong interest in AI-enabled product capabilities for operational workflows and inventory management.
• Familiarity with customer discovery and research across relevant verticals (e.g., construction, field services, manufacturing, medical).
