Role Overview

Senior Product Manager – AI & Inventory Management at Sortly. You’ll evolve Sortly’s core inventory management product line into an AI-powered inventory operations platform for SMB customers. The role focuses on shaping the product strategy and delivering high-impact capabilities across forecasting, insights, automation, and workflow guidance.

What You’ll Do

Own the AI-Powered Inventory Management Roadmap

• Define and drive the 1–3 year vision for AI-powered inventory management
• Prioritize capabilities such as:
  • Forecasting & replenishment
  • Smart inventory insights and workflows
  • Automated reconciliation and reporting
  • AI-driven workflow guidance
• Make scope/investment tradeoffs to maximize customer and business impact

Build and Launch High-Impact AI Features

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives (e.g., predictive recommendations, workflow automation)
• Write clear product requirements and collaborate with engineering, design, and data science
• Balance speed, quality, and technical tradeoffs to ship valuable features

Understand Customers and Deliver Results

• Develop deep expertise in workflows across industries (construction, field services, manufacturing, medical)
• Use customer research and product data to identify automation opportunities
• Own outcomes such as adoption, efficiency gains, and revenue impact

Collaborate to Bring Products to Market

• Work cross-functionally to unblock delivery
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on go-to-market strategy
• Communicate priorities, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, including 2+ years in B2B SaaS
• 1+ year building AI/ML-powered products with real customer impact
• Proven track record shipping products end-to-end
• Comfort discussing AI/ML concepts (posting text cuts off after this point)
