About the role
Role Overview
Senior Product Manager – AI & Inventory Management at Sortly. You will evolve Sortly’s core inventory management product line into an AI-powered intelligent inventory operations platform for SMBs across industries like construction, field services, manufacturing, and medical.
Responsibilities
- Own the AI inventory product roadmap (1–3 years), balancing customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
- Define and prioritize high-impact capabilities such as:
- inventory forecasting & replenishment
- smart inventory insights & workflows
- automated reconciliation and reporting
- AI-driven workflow guidance
- Lead end-to-end product delivery for major initiatives, including predictive recommendations and workflow automation.
- Write detailed PRDs with jobs-to-be-done, user stories, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and AI-specific requirements.
- Partner with engineering, design, and data science to scope features, manage technical tradeoffs, and maintain delivery velocity.
- Launch on aggressive timelines while ensuring quality and measurable impact on retention/expansion/efficiency.
- Become an expert in customer workflows through deep customer research across key verticals.
Requirements
- Passion for building AI-enabled B2B SaaS that solves real operational problems.
- Ability to define strategy and drive execution across product, engineering, design, and data science.
- Strong product skills: roadmapping, PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working with AI-enabled product requirements (e.g., AI-specific constraints and success measurement) and multi-vertical B2B workflows.
