About the role

Role Overview

Skimmer is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the continued development and evolution of the product roadmap. You’ll own the product lifecycle end-to-end—driving discovery, delivery, adoption, and iteration—while partnering closely with design, engineering, customer success, and leadership.

What You’ll Do

Own product vision and strategy, aligning with business goals and user needs.
Define and prioritize the roadmap, balancing innovation, technical debt, and user feedback.
Lead product discovery: user research, customer interviews, and prototype testing.
Write clear, actionable requirements for design and engineering; manage sprint cycles for fast, high-quality execution.
Analyze product usage and customer feedback to measure success and iterate.
Act as a domain expert on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
Ensure a cohesive, delightful customer experience.

What Performance Looks Like (First 3 Months)

Analyze and assess customer needs and translate them into roadmap and business requirements for UX and engineering.
Build a deep understanding of Skimmer’s web and mobile platforms and near-term roadmap.
Engage with customers and help ensure the best-in-class customer experience.

Your Experience

Experience leading development teams and successfully taking at least one product from concept to launch.
Proven end-to-end product development success in a high-growth SaaS/tech environment.
Strong user empathy and passion for field-focused design plus UX best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence across teams.
AI-forward product management experience using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Replit, V0, or similar.
Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Azure DevOps, Notion, Jira, Mixpanel, and Pendo.
Knowledge of Agile and a data-informed mindset.

Bonus

Experience in vertical SaaS or field service software.

Location / Work Model

Reporting to the VP, Product.
Hybrid in Austin, TX or Toronto, ON, or remote-first employees (states listed in posting; incomplete in provided text).
