Senior Product Manager, Security

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager (Security) at ClickHouse, responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for security-focused offerings. You will ensure security features are robust, reliable, and aligned with evolving customer needs.

What You Will Do

• Define and evangelize product vision, strategy, and roadmap for security-focused features and products.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to deliver high-quality, secure products.
• Translate complex security requirements into product specifications and user stories.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize work, and optimize trade-offs for customer satisfaction and business value.
• Lead product launch activities, including go-to-market, sales enablement, and user documentation.
• Monitor product performance, use data and feedback to iterate on features.
• Act as a security subject matter expert for guidance across stakeholders.

About You (Requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of product management experience with a significant focus on security.
• Proven experience with database security principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts as they relate to security.
• In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Demonstrated experience in quality assurance processes and methodologies.
• Solid program management background (planning, execution, risk management).
• Prior security engineering experience is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud security platforms and technologies.
