Senior Product Manager - Search Quality and Query Interpretation

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager for Search Quality and Query Interpretation at Constructor. You will own the intelligence behind understanding user queries and the models that determine what results are shown, ensuring decisions are measurable, explainable, and grounded in user value.

What You’ll Do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for improving how users’ queries are interpreted and responded to.
• Drive development of search quality models optimizing recall and precision.
• Define and build tools and metrics to measure and explain result quality.
• Collaborate with ML, infrastructure, and product teams across the stack.
• Lead investigation and triage of search quality issues and design long-term fixes.
• Benchmark quality against competitors and drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a PM in search, machine learning, or NLP-focused products.
• Deep understanding of the search pipeline (from tokenization through result ranking).
• Expertise with spelling correction, synonyms, LLMs, or search evaluation frameworks.
• Familiarity with production ML models, including tradeoffs between real-time vs batch.
• Strong quality mindset: correctness and how to measure it.
• Technical fluency and comfort partnering with engineering, data science, and ML Ops.
