Senior Product Manager, Search & Evaluate - StreetEasy

Role overview

Senior Product Manager for Search & Evaluate on StreetEasy’s buying and renting marketplace. You will own the core end-to-end discovery and shopping experience—search, browse, compare, evaluate, and downstream shopping actions—where most user time and key product signals are generated.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the search and shopping strategy across web, iOS, and Android (from initial query through evaluation).
• Build personalized shopping experiences using smart defaults, targeted nudges, and AI-assisted exploration.
• Own property evaluation pages and experiences, including NYC-specific nuances (e.g., co-op policies and pricing).
• Optimize the shopping journey: browsing, comparing, saving, and sharing listings.
• Lead experimentation and deployment of AI-powered personalization and recommendation models.
• Partner with engineering and data science to translate behavioral signals into measurable improvements for search and discovery.
• Balance innovation with trust, data quality, accuracy, and reliability expectations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of digital product management experience, including 3+ years focused on search, discovery, or content relevance in a dual-sided marketplace.
• Deep technical expertise in search relevance, ranking, and AI/ML personalization systems.
• Ability to manage and leverage behavioral data as a core product input.
• Proven track record of optimizing complex consumer flows with A/B testing and experimentation.
• Strong cross-functional leadership (aligning engineering and data science teams).
