Senior Product Manager (ReSharper)

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager for ReSharper at JetBrains, responsible for identifying and validating product opportunities and driving strategy, roadmap, and execution for developer tooling in the .NET ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Identify and validate new opportunities to increase ReSharper’s impact on JetBrains’ business
• Interact extensively with users to understand needs, challenges, and requirements
• Conduct UX and market research to inform decisions
• Define the product metrics to monitor success and enable data-driven decisions
• Generate, prioritize, and test hypotheses
• Define and maintain product vision and strategy aligned with company goals
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap for short- and long-term outcomes
• Partner with engineering to define problems and support delivery and iteration
• Collaborate with analysts, technical writers, developer advocates, and marketing/growth teams
• Coordinate with authors of third-party libraries, frameworks, and tools

Requirements

• Technical education or experience in software development
• 3+ years of product management (or equivalent experience)
• Deep understanding of product metrics
• Familiarity with programming languages and modern software development practices
• Proven ability to define product strategy and drive execution across multiple teams
• Experience with technical products and engineering-heavy teams
• Customer-centric mindset; ability to translate user problems into product opportunities
• Strong English communication (spoken and written)
• Ability to work across both discovery and delivery phases

Nice to Have

• Professional experience writing code in C#
• Background in developer tooling (IDEs, code analysis, CI/CD, version control)
• Familiarity with major platforms and environments such as IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio, VS Code, or similar
