Role Overview

Senior Product Manager, Reporting & Insights at Remote. You will shape the future of trusted reporting and insights that helps customers and internal teams answer critical workforce, payroll, finance, and compliance questions with confidence.

Mission

Enable users to build, distribute, and consume accurate, scalable, easy-to-use reporting and insights—ready for AI-assisted workflows and explainable, compliant outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the reporting & insights strategy: Define vision and roadmap for a multi-surface reporting system across in-app report building, dashboards, scheduled delivery, exports, APIs/connectors, embedded partner surfaces, and AI/agent experiences.
• Understand customer reporting needs: Use empathy for payroll, finance, HR, executive, manager, internal operator, and partner/builder personas; translate workflows, trust thresholds, and AI readiness into product priorities.
• Build trusted reporting foundations: Own payroll-grade reporting capabilities including standard reports, configurable report building, GL/journal exports, variance reporting, reconciliation, definitions, permissions, lineage, auditability, and observability.
• Develop intelligent insights experiences: Identify opportunities for AI such as anomaly detection, driver analysis, and proactive recommendations—while keeping outputs explainable, source-backed, and compliant.
• Drive cross-functional execution: Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Security, Legal, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Operations, and partners.
• Measure and improve impact: Define KPIs for adoption, engagement, trust, report accuracy, distribution usage, retention, expansion, and internal leverage; iterate using feedback and data.

• Ability to combine product judgment with technical depth to deliver accurate and scalable reporting.
• Experience working in data-heavy, compliance-sensitive domains (payroll/finance/HR) and delivering trustworthy reporting systems.
