Senior Product Manager (Product App Sec)

Role Overview

Join Veeam as a Senior Product Manager (Product App Sec) to lead Polaris, Veeam’s secure software delivery platform. You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Security, DevOps, and Release Management to deliver scalable CI/CD capabilities in a compliance-driven environment.

Key Missions

• Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy for the Polaris platform.
• Translate business, engineering, compliance, and security requirements into prioritized epics, features, and user stories.
• Lead CI/CD modernization and secure software delivery initiatives for Azure-based pipelines.
• Champion DevSecOps best practices including:
  • Automated testing
  • Security scanning
  • Artifact validation
  • Release governance
• Ensure platform capabilities align with enterprise security and compliance requirements and continuously evolve Polaris.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years leading enterprise CI/CD or platform engineering initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Secure DevOps, cloud-native platform delivery, and infrastructure automation.
• Operating experience in compliance-driven and/or high-security environments.
• 8+ years experience as Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or equivalent in highly technical software environments.
• Deep understanding of Azure, DevSecOps, and software supply chain security.
• Strong technical foundation (e.g., Bachelor’s in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent hands-on proficiency).

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting AI/ML pipeline delivery.
• Familiarity with compliance-as-code, policy automation tooling, and artifact management systems.
• Agile/Scrum certifications (CSPO/PSPO) and/or cloud platform/DevOps certifications.
• Experience in enterprise-scale SaaS or cybersecurity organizations.

Collaboration / Scope

You will guide cross-functional execution at the intersection of product strategy, engineering delivery, and security/compliance governance for the Polaris platform.
