About the role
Role Overview
Senior Product Manager, Pricing (partner-managed)
Shape the core pricing systems and decisioning platforms for a fast-scaling, technology-led insurance environment. Own the pricing product strategy and roadmap, partnering with engineering, data science, actuarial, analytics, and legal to turn models and data into real-time production decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the pricing product roadmap: long-term vision and strategy for scalable pricing infrastructure and decisioning systems.
- Lead cross-functional execution across the full product lifecycle (ideation → requirements/PRDs → delivery → iteration).
- Write detailed PRDs aligning business goals, technical architecture, and delivery plans.
- Build and maintain a data-driven, prioritized product backlog using structured product frameworks and stakeholder/customer insights.
- Own and enhance internal pricing platforms (e.g., rating plan configuration and pricing execution workflows).
- Accelerate transition from data models/insights into production-ready pricing capabilities.
- Improve pricing workflow performance: speed, reliability, observability, and usability.
- Develop self-service tooling to enable experimentation and faster deployment.
- Identify and resolve regulatory, compliance, and workflow bottlenecks to reduce operational friction.
- Partner across actuarial, data science, analytics, legal, and state operations to ensure alignment across complex systems.
- Support geographic/regulatory expansion by adapting pricing capabilities to state-specific requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement using experimentation, user feedback, and data-informed decision-making.
Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience (preferably fintech/insurtech/SaaS or other data-intensive, regulated industries).
- Strong systems thinking for complex architectures, workflows, and data-driven decision systems.
- Familiarity with APIs, predictive modeling, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration.
- Data- and analytics-driven mindset; close collaboration with data science and analytics teams.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- Experience delivering in agile environments with iterative cycles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
- User-centric mindset with a track record of improving usability and performance.
- Highly collaborative: influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, and hands-on ownership.
- Willingness to travel periodically for team collaboration and planning.
Nice-to-Haves
- Not explicitly stated.
Compensation (as provided)
- Competitive salary: $125,500 to $156,100.
