Role: Senior Product Manager, Payouts (Payables/Issuing)

Own and scale Payabli’s disbursement capabilities, spanning virtual cards and multiple payout rails, while pioneering AI-driven vendor enrichment and building a vendor network for B2B payments.

What you’ll own

• Virtual Card Issuance & Program Management
  • Lead strategy and execution for the virtual card program (single-use and multi-use), including spend controls and program compliance.
  • Partner with card networks, BIN sponsors, and processors to build a best-in-class issuance platform.
• Payment Rails (ACH, Wires, Checks)
  • Own the full lifecycle of payouts.
  • Improve speed, reliability, and cost efficiency across:
    • ACH (same-day and standard)
    • Domestic and international wire transfers
    • Check disbursement
  • Apply deep knowledge of NACHA rules and Fed deadlines.
• Payables Enablement
  • Build tools and workflows that enable platform partners to run payables end-to-end.
  • Cover experiences from invoice ingestion and approval workflows to payment execution, reducing friction and accelerating cash flow.
• AI Vendor Enrichment
  • Pioneer AI-driven vendor data enrichment: validate payment credentials, categorize vendors, detect anomalies, and reduce manual overhead.
  • Apply machine learning to financial operations.
• Vendor Network Creation
  • Architect and scale a vendor network that creates network effects across platforms.
  • Define strategy for vendor acquisition, data sharing, and the connective tissue of B2B payments.

What we’re looking for

• Experience & expertise
  • 5+ years in product management with deep experience in payments/fintech/financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with virtual card issuance programs and card network relationships (Visa, Mastercard).
  • Expert-level understanding of ACH, including NACHA rules, same-day ACH, and returns/NOCs.
  • Expert-level understanding of wire transfers and check processing.
  • Experience building vendor networks and enablement approaches (phone, email, portal); familiarity with straight-through processing is a plus.
  • Experience with BIN sponsorship, issuing processors, and program management compliance.
  • Track record of launching and scaling disbursement/payables products.
  • Familiarity with vendor management systems, AP automation, or B2B payment workflows.
• Technical fluency
  • Ability to partner deeply with engineering (role text cuts off mid-sentence, but indicates strong cross-functional technical collaboration).
