Senior Product Manager (Payments, Claims, Payer Integrations & Clinic Experience)

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Manager at Maven Clinic, you will own and evolve product areas spanning provider payments, claims-based billing, payer integrations, and the clinic experience. You’ll work across provider operations, payments infrastructure, payer integrations, and partner relationships, with an emphasis on technical depth and financial accountability.

Key Missions

• Own and evolve provider payments, claims-based billing, payer integrations, and clinic experience at scale.
• Drive transition from manual to programmatic payment reconciliation and improve claims-based billing readiness.
• Ensure payer integrations scale reliably with robust systems and workflows.
• Partner with engineering, operations, finance, treasury, clinic partnerships, payer partnerships, and analytics to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and make the platform easier for providers, clinics, and payers to use.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with hands-on ownership in products involving payments, claims processing, payment reconciliation, or financial operations, ideally in healthcare or fintech.
• Experience partnering with finance/treasury/payment integrity teams around reconciliation, audit, or compliance.
• Strong operational instincts: ensure accuracy, timeliness, and transparency and surface issues before escalation.
• Comfort with technical integration challenges: APIs, EDI formats, payment processing systems, cross-system reconciliation, and clear communication with engineering and operations.
• Direct experience with provider payment systems and/or claims processing workflows, including remittance (835s), matching payments to claims, bank file processing, or financial operations requiring auditability.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and effective in fast-moving environments balancing partner needs, reliability, and platform investment.
• Excitement about AI as both a product capability and development accelerator; use AI tools and think about how it changes product development.

Nice to Have

• Experience with payer-facing integrations and health plan data exchanges, coordination of benefits, or payer contracting workflows.
• Experience building/improving B2B-facing portals, partner tools, or operational dashboards for external users.
• Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
