About the role

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager for Gym vertical within ClassPass’s New Verticals organization. Own end-to-end product strategy for a high-visibility, greenfield 0→1 opportunity building a marketplace that serves both gym-goers (B2C) and gym operators (B2B).

Responsibilities

  • Own the full product strategy for the Gym vertical (vision, roadmap, execution).
  • Drive business model discovery: identify how ClassPass creates and captures value.
  • Build for both sides of the marketplace:
    • Seamless experiences for gym-goers
    • Operator tools that help gyms grow
  • Prioritize ruthlessly, balancing near-term wins with long-term bets.
  • Lead product lifecycle end-to-end: discovery → delivery → post-launch optimization.
  • Partner with UX and research across both surfaces (consumer + operator).
  • Collaborate with engineering on feasibility, quality, and speed; unblock teams.
  • Use strong experimentation practices; design tests and learn quickly.
  • Maintain transparency via documentation and cross-team communication.
  • Engage stakeholders and communicate progress/roadmap to senior leadership.
  • Partner with marketing and sales on positioning and launches.
  • Build relationships with gym operator partners; incorporate feedback into the roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of PM experience, including meaningful experience in 0→1 or new-business/product creation.
  • Proven ability to build high-quality products on both sides of a marketplace (consumer-facing and operator/partner-facing). B2B2C experience is a plus.
  • Deep experience with consumer mobile apps.
  • Technically and analytically sharp: can interpret data independently and weigh in on architecture decisions.
  • Strong experimentation background with a track record of designing tests and learning fast.
  • Clear communication across engineering, executives, design, data science, and external partners.
  • Consumer empathy and strong product ownership with high standards for craft and detail.
  • Experience working with agile, full-stack product teams from discovery through delivery.
