Role Overview

Senior Product Manager, Monetization & Growth Own product experiences and systems that drive customer acquisition, conversion, monetization, expansion, and retention across Crunchbase’s product-led growth motion.

Responsibilities

  • Monetization Strategy & Product Ownership
    • Own monetization experiences and systems across pricing, packaging, subscriptions, billing, and account growth.
    • Develop and evolve monetization strategies and identify opportunities to improve customer value realization.
    • Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, revenue opportunity, and strategic alignment.
  • Pricing, Packaging & Subscription Management
    • Lead design, testing, and optimization of pricing and packaging models across products and customer segments.
    • Own requirements and execution for billing, checkout, upgrade/downgrade, and cancellation experiences.
    • Partner with Engineering and Finance to ensure accurate implementation of monetization systems and policies.
    • Monitor pricing performance and recommend changes based on customer behavior and market dynamics.
  • Self-Serve Growth & Conversion Optimization
    • Identify and optimize self-serve growth opportunities across the journey: acquisition, onboarding, activation, conversion, and expansion.
    • Find and reduce friction points in key conversion funnels.
    • Partner with Marketing and Revenue to improve growth experiences across web, product, and lifecycle touchpoints.
    • Evaluate opportunities such as AI search, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and new acquisition channels.
  • Enterprise Administration & Expansion Experiences
    • Own enterprise administration capabilities for team management, user provisioning, permissions, billing administration, and account governance.
    • Partner with Revenue and Customer Success to improve account expansion and team adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Experimentation
    • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Revenue, Finance, and GTM to identify growth opportunities and build scalable monetization systems.
    • Use product judgment, analytical rigor, and experimentation to improve both customer experience and business outcomes.
