Role overview

ModeSens is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the Shopping Experience product area across web, app, and browser extension. You’ll drive end-to-end product management and growth across the funnel—anonymous visitor → activation → repeat use and habit—while improving both user engagement and downstream ecommerce performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for the shopping experience across web, app, and browser extension.
  • Build and execute an experimentation strategy across the funnel (e.g., landing, search, onboarding, engagement features like wishlist/alerts, and re-engagement).
  • Partner with Design, Engineering, Data, and Marketing to ship A/B tests and product improvements.
  • Work with Data to understand user behavior and funnel performance; prioritize the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Design and run A/B tests: define hypotheses, success metrics, analysis approach, and translate learnings into product decisions.
  • Collaborate with Design/Engineering to deliver simple, intuitive shopping flows that build confidence in price, discounts, and store choice.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to align product and messaging that bring users back and build habits.
  • Balance user growth & engagement metrics with ecommerce outcomes (e.g., purchase conversion and downstream revenue), making trade-offs when needed.
  • Communicate priorities, decisions, and results clearly to stakeholders, including executives.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of product management experience with meaningful ownership of consumer-facing products.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required.
  • Strong hands-on experience driving growth for consumer products (activation, engagement, retention), ideally via structured experimentation.
  • Solid A/B testing instincts: defining hypotheses and metrics, scoping tests, and using data partners to interpret results.
  • Data-driven product mindset (comfortable partnering on analysis even if you don’t write SQL).
  • Proven ability to work end-to-end: problem framing, opportunity sizing, specs, execution, launch, and iteration.
  • Strong product sense and user empathy for consumer shopping/decision journeys.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; can articulate trade-offs and influence cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Experience working in early-stage/growth-stage environments with ambiguity.
