About the role
Role Overview
As Senior Product Manager – Channel Delivery (Mobile Messaging), you will own Bloomreach Engagement’s mobile messaging channel delivery. This includes product management and tech vendor partnership to ensure mobile message deliverability through third-party integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own technical partnerships with mobile messaging vendors:
- Manage relationships with existing vendors via weekly calls, daily updates, and proactive communication.
- Identify and onboard new vendors to improve cost, reliability, and deliverability.
- Escalate feature requests, influence the roadmap, and drive vendor-side implementation.
- Collaborate with vendors to learn and implement industry best practices.
- Drive integrations and delivery roadmap
- Lead the integration implementation with engineering.
- Prioritize channel delivery features and manage/implement the roadmap.
- Improve channel capabilities and performance
- Enhance the Channel API and channel-delivery features for deliverability, reliability, cost, and throughput.
- Focus on SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, RCS (and potential future channels).
- Identify improvements for monitoring and alerting in channel delivery.
- Identify opportunities to productize deliverability and operational workflows.
- Expand channel coverage
- Develop a roadmap for new channels aligned with Upmarket and Vertical expansion for Engagement.
- Execution and enablement
- Oversee documentation of product features with the Documentation team.
- Act as an internal champion for mobile messaging, owning business outcomes and supporting sales/marketing motions.
- Provide mobile messaging expertise across Sales, AMs, Marketing, PMM, and Deliverability Services.
- Support large deals with product expertise and request handling.
- Collaborate with Delivery Services to incorporate priorities and customer/prospect feedback.
- Feedback and compliance
- Gather and manage client/prospect feedback on mobile messaging improvements.
- Stay current on messaging compliance rules and translate requirements into product features.
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of B2B SaaS Product Management, ideally in MarTech or infrastructure-heavy environments.
- Proven experience managing third-party vendor relationships, especially in telecom/messaging.
- Familiarity with mobile messaging channels: SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, RCS, including technical and compliance challenges.
- Strong understanding of APIs, message deliverability mechanics, and observability tooling.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
