Senior Product Manager - MedTech

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Manager (MedTech) at Veeva, you will shape and enhance the Commercial/Marketing and Medical solution for MedTech / Medical Devices. You’ll translate customer needs and industry requirements into product strategy, roadmaps, and well-defined requirements.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy and Vision

• Define and communicate the long-term vision for the Commercial and Medical software suite
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to guide product direction
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align product strategy with business goals

Product Roadmap and Prioritization

• Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap
• Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes using customer feedback, market trends, and business impact
• Balance short-term needs with long-term product vision

Requirements Gathering and Documentation

• Partner with customers, sales, and support to understand MedTech requirements
• Create clear PRDs and user stories
• Ensure alignment between technical capabilities and user needs

MedTech Enhancements

• Work with engineering to design and deliver new features
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to improve MedTech offerings
• Drive continuous improvement in usability, performance, and scalability

UX and Usability

• Partner with UX to champion user-centric design
• Run usability testing and incorporate feedback to refine UX
• Optimize workflows for asset ingestion, metadata management, and search

Vendor Relationships

• Collaborate with software partners to influence roadmaps and resolve issues
• Use vendor insights and support to strengthen offerings

Sales Enablement and Training

• Provide product knowledge, demos, and competitive insights to Sales and Support
• Train internal teams (sales, customer success, support) to help them position and sell the solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in MedTech software or related technologies
• Strong understanding of Commercial and Medical business processes in MedTech
• Strong understanding of MedTech concepts, workflows, and industry standards
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical teams
• Analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Familiarity with Agile and product development processes

Nice to Have

• 2+ years in product management
• Experience with Veeva Vault Platform, Veeva PromoMats, or Veeva Medical
• Experience with APIs, SQL, and programming languages
• Experience working with Life Sciences / MedTech industries
