About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Manager (Logs - Observability) at Elastic, you will lead product work around logs and logs analytics to deliver a best-in-class end-to-end observability experience. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Engineering, UX, Design, Sales, and Marketing and use customer feedback and user engagement signals to guide product decisions.

Key Missions

  • Evolve logs analytics capabilities and align them with the company’s organizational strategy.
  • Advance the end-to-end lifecycle for logs: collection, ingest, and management.
  • Build features for modern SRE workflows, including integration of GenAI and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Translate customer/abstract problems into concrete, prioritized solutions.
  • Work customer-backwards: track user engagement and incorporate feedback into the roadmap.
  • Collaborate across teams (Engineering, UX/Design, Sales, Marketing) to deliver logs analytics improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • 3+ years of product management (or closely related experience).
  • Technical experience in logs analytics.
  • Ability to convert abstract challenges into prioritized product outcomes.
  • Passion for industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Observability and/or performance monitoring domain knowledge.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote, globally distributed environment.
  • Knowledge of AI (GenAI/agentic workflows) and interest in AI-powered approaches.
