Role Overview

Senior Product Manager, Lending at Pathward. You will shape and scale modern lending products in a regulated banking environment—rethinking how loans are originated, decisioned, and delivered.

What You’ll Own

Define and drive product strategy for high-impact lending products.
Translate ambiguous business goals into a clear product vision and measurable outcomes.
Use Jobs-to-be-Done thinking and systems-level problem solving to identify real customer and operational pain points.
Lead discovery, experimentation, and validation before committing to build.
Design products that balance innovation with regulatory and risk expectations.
Partner with technology, credit, operations, and compliance to deliver scalable products.
Leverage AI and modern tooling to improve decisioning, automation, data visibility, and workflow efficiency.
Measure impact continuously and iterate based on outcomes, not activity.

Who You Are (Requirements)

5+ years in product management, ideally in fintech, lending, embedded finance, or other regulated financial services.
Strategic thinker who sees systems, not just features.
Comfortable working with AI, APIs, automation tools, and modern product platforms.
Energized by ambiguity and motivated to build products that change how work gets done.
Able to challenge assumptions and think beyond traditional banking processes.
Outcome-driven, intellectually curious, and collaborative across executive, technical, and operational audiences.

Nice-to-Have / Helpful

Experience integrating AI into decisioning/automation and improving credit quality and lending workflow efficiency.
