Role overview

Senior Product Manager, Learner Platform Experience (fully remote, US) Own the end-to-end learner platform experience—driving engagement, retention, and learning outcomes as the platform scales from thousands of users today to millions in the future. You’ll work at the intersection of product, AI, education, and technology, defining digital experiences that accelerate learning while preserving meaningful human connection.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the learner platform experience across multiple segments: students, alumni, professionals, and institutional partners.
  • Define and execute a product roadmap aligned to learning outcomes, engagement, and retention.
  • Lead development and scaling of AI-powered learning features, including:
    • tutoring
    • grading
    • personalization
    • learner support experiences
  • Identify where AI can improve effectiveness, productivity, and scalability while maintaining critical human interactions.
  • Collaborate with learning, curriculum, design, and engineering to support both live learning and asynchronous engagement.
  • Establish product metrics/KPIs and experimentation frameworks to measure:
    • learning outcomes
    • retention
    • user engagement
  • Conduct user research, synthesize insights, and translate them into product improvements.
  • Champion high-quality UX and seamless learner journeys across all platform touchpoints.
  • Use data/analytics/AI tools to accelerate product discovery, decision-making, and execution.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading and scaling digital products with active user bases.
  • Proven track record improving product quality, engagement, and retention during rapid growth.
  • Strong background building and launching AI-enabled products/features/workflows.
  • Deep understanding of product strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, and execution in ambiguity.
  • Ability to define success metrics and use data to drive decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with familiarity in experimentation, user research, and product discovery.

Nice to have

  • Experience with product analytics platforms, design/prototyping tools, SQL, and modern AI development tools.
  • Background in education technology, learning platforms, adaptive learning, or consumer-facing products.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to create structure in the absence of existing processes.

Benefits / compensation

  • Total compensation: $200,000–$232,000 (base + guaranteed monthly supplement)
  • Base salary: $135,000–$175,000
  • Fully remote within the United States
