Senior Product Manager

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager for a biotech start-up redefining DNA sequencing. This is a commercial-first product management role owning the company’s flagship sequencing portfolio and driving revenue growth on an established, high-volume product line.

What You’ll Do

• Own pricing strategy end-to-end: packaging, price elasticity, and linking pricing to positioning.
• Conduct sharp competitive analysis in genomics/sequencing: understand market moves, competitors, and how to build credible responses.
• Drive revenue growth for an existing product (not just feature releases).
• Bring genomics market knowledge to inform customer needs, buying behavior, and market direction.
• Own the product lifecycle end-to-end: roadmap, GTM, and cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, and R&D.
• Work closely with leadership in a high-visibility, foundational role shaping how commercial strategy integrates into the product function.

What You’ll Need

• Demonstrated experience owning pricing strategy (beyond annual reviews) with fluency in packaging and elasticity.
• Strong competitive positioning instincts and credible knowledge of the genomics/sequencing market.
• Proven track record of moving revenue by growing an existing product.
• Fluency in genomics customer needs and buying behavior.
• Ability to own the product end-to-end (roadmap + GTM + cross-functional alignment).

Nice-to-Haves / Who Thrives

• PMs from life sciences/biotech with experience owning mature, established products.
• Strong commercial thinking around “why customers choose you over alternatives.”
• Experience running pricing experiments, repositioning products, or building competitive responses with clear results.

• Remote, ideally West Coast or Mountain time zone.
