Senior Product Manager

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Manager at Hiive, you’ll join a fast-growing product team and report to an experienced product leader. You’ll work closely with designers and engineers to deliver meaningful product and business changes, ramping up quickly in a modern engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize effectively by balancing competing objectives, including customer vs. business needs and short-term vs. long-term goals
• Use a structured, highly organized approach (mental models) to define and communicate product thinking
• Maintain a customer-centric mindset focused on improving user experiences
• Understand existing systems and drive changes to achieve business and user goals, considering implications
• Apply strong product development process expertise to guide execution
• Define, measure, and optimize product KPIs
• Use analytics and databases to make data-driven decisions
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, marketing, and sales

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience at early-stage to growth-stage startups
• Proven track record launching multiple successful products or large features that solve meaningful customer problems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including working with databases/analytics tools
• Ability to define and optimize product KPIs
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience in marketplaces (any kind), fintech, or similar
• Software engineering background
• Knowledge of Amplitude and Business Intelligence solutions for querying data

Location / Work Model

• Preference for candidates who can work at the Vancouver, BC HQ
• Open to Canada or US-based remote candidates
