Role Overview

Senior Product Manager responsible for scaling Forbes Advisor’s business formation and management platform. Reporting to the Head of Product, SMB, you will own growth and monetization across the product portfolio and drive improvements across the customer lifecycle—from pre-purchase funnel to post-purchase engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own growth and monetization across multiple product lines, improving conversion rate, average order value, and package mix across channels and devices.
  • Reimagine post-purchase experience by building engagement and monetization touchpoints that deliver value at the right moment.
  • Partner with engineering, design, analytics, and commercial teams to deliver product experiences from concept through release and beyond.
  • Use data to identify funnel opportunities, spot product gaps, validate hypotheses, and drive experimentation.
  • Collaborate with sales, LCM, marketing, and partnerships to define GTM strategy and validate demand to accelerate product-market fit.
  • Define and manage a structured product backlog, prioritizing initiatives by impact, resources, and strategic alignment.
  • Deep-dive into user behaviors, feedback, and performance data to understand drivers of value.
  • Test assumptions via prototyping, experimentation, and structured discovery.
  • Track and improve performance against key metrics, iterating post-launch.
  • Serve as the central communicator for your product area, aligning stakeholders on outcomes.
  • Help refine product development practices, bringing structure and a proactive approach.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in product management with a track record improving purchase funnels, attach rates, or post-purchase monetization for self-serve or product-led SaaS.
  • Strong empathy and experience designing for small business/SMB users (e.g., solopreneurs and individual business owners making high-consideration decisions).
  • Comfortable across the full product lifecycle: discovery → definition → delivery → iteration.
  • Proficient with SQL and product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude or similar), plus financial modeling.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Data-driven approach with ability to define and measure performance metrics.
