About the role
Role Overview
Senior Product Manager for Emerging Consumer Products at Jerry, focused on DriveShield—a product that helps drivers track trips, understand driving scores, earn points, receive personalized safety tips, and build safer driving habits.
What you’ll do
- Own a behavior-change mandate: make drivers care, return, and improve using metrics like adoption, engagement, retention, and trust.
- Drive habit formation across the user journey: from the first trip to the next action (score understanding, seeing changes, earning points, getting guidance, staying motivated).
- Improve the core experience by modernizing trip tracking, driving scores, points, safety tips, progress, and guidance—prioritizing clarity, trust, and repeat usage over UI polish.
- Design engagement loops that feel genuinely useful (e.g., score explanations, notifications, personalized insights, clearer rewards, and new habit mechanics).
- Explore what’s next for DriveShield including safety/mobility capabilities such as smarter insights, crash detection, partner integrations, build-vs-buy options, and AI-powered personalization.
- Learn from users and data using analytics, research, usability studies, prototypes, and A/B testing to determine what works.
- Find high-leverage problems and ship with conviction; the roadmap won’t be handed to you.
Requirements / What you are
- A consumer product craftsperson who understands how UX details affect user trust and retention.
- A behavioral product thinker focused on habits, advice adoption, reward response, and score trust.
- A user-focused detective who investigates where users drop off and why.
- Data-driven with the ability to build conviction from imperfect signals and run experiments to learn quickly.
- High-bar, detail-oriented (examples include attention to vague copy and confusing experiences).
