Role: Senior Product Manager — Domains

Lead the Domains product line at HighLevel, owning strategy and execution for domain purchasing, connection, DNS setup, and transfers.

What you’ll do

• Define long-term vision for domain management: search, purchase, DNS configuration, transfers, renewals, and security.
• Build end-to-end workflows for domain discovery, purchasing, and provisioning.
• Improve automation for DNS setup and SSL to make onboarding effortless.
• Increase reliability and performance by improving uptime and propagation speed, and reducing failure points.
• Create agency-level domain management tools and user-friendly transfer workflows for domains moving in/out of HighLevel.
• Partner with registrars/registrar APIs (e.g., Cloudflare) to expand TLD support and improve reliability.
• Develop frictionless processes to transfer domains from external registrars to HighLevel.
• Ensure compliance with ICANN and registrar-level requirements.
• Strengthen SSL issuance, DNS management, error handling, and monitoring.
• Use customer insights: interview users, study support tickets, and analyze user behavior to find friction and opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Infra/Security, Design, Billing, Support, Legal, and Partnerships.
• Write clear product requirements and run execution (rest of details cut off in the provided text).

Requirements

• Experience owning product strategy and execution for technical or infrastructure-adjacent domains (domain lifecycle, DNS/SSL workflows, and reliability).
• Ability to work effectively with engineering and external integrations (registrar APIs) and manage cross-functional delivery.
• Strong problem-solving using support data and user behavior to reduce friction.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ICANN/registrar requirements and domain lifecycle operations.
• Experience designing automation for DNS provisioning and SSL issuance.
