About the role
Role Overview
The Senior Product Manager – Digital Health will drive innovation and success across Inogen’s digital health product portfolio. You will combine market research, customer insights, and product strategy to identify opportunities, guide development, and support commercialization for solutions spanning patient mobile apps, telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, and device analytics.
Responsibilities
- Market & Customer Insights
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs and digital health industry trends.
- Monitor global competitors and analyze product performance against Inogen’s portfolio.
- Engage with healthcare professionals, patients, and digital health stakeholders to gather insights and shape the value proposition (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test).
- Strategic Product Management
- Partner with senior leadership to develop the long-term vision and strategy for the digital health portfolio.
- Oversee integration of cloud platforms, mobile apps, and data analytics to improve clinical outcomes and patient engagement.
- Lead cross-functional agile teams to deliver digital health products on time while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.
- Product Support (SME)
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for Sales and Marketing by developing product claims and materials.
- Create and deliver product training for internal teams and external partners.
- Use customer feedback to recommend product improvements.
- Represent Voice of Customer (VOC) in initiatives to improve performance, user experience, and operational support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in strategic product management (roadmaps, lifecycle management, and go-to-market for digital health).
- Strong customer-centric mindset focused on patient engagement, clinician workflows, and user experience.
- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative market research to identify unmet needs and trends.
- Knowledge of digital health ecosystems, including interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) and telehealth/remote patient monitoring/digital therapeutics.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or stage-gate approaches and digital platform/software development processes.
- Experience navigating healthcare regulatory frameworks and privacy/security standards, including FDA / EU MDR and HIPAA / GDPR.
- Data-driven decision-making using KPIs, ROI, and health outcomes metrics.
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams.
Nice-to-Haves
- Direct medical device industry experience and deep understanding of digital health technologies used in connected healthcare solutions.
