Senior Product Manager (Developer Solutions)

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Manager (Developer Solutions), you will own ZBD’s Developer Platform, shaping how game developers build on top of ZBD’s financial infrastructure. This is a hands-on product role focused on API/SDK evolution, developer experience, and platform health—with a strong foundation in payments and API design.

Key Missions

• Define and execute the vision, roadmap, and delivery for the developer platform, emphasizing speed and impact.
• Define and evolve REST APIs and SDKs for mobile, PC, and web, ensuring adherence to API standards.
• Partner closely with the Developer Experience lead to ensure documentation, integration flows, and tools reflect world-class development practices.
• Engage directly with game developers and use platform health metrics to guide product decisions.

Requirements / Profile

• Strong drive to move fast, finish, and remove friction—especially for developer experience.
• Defensible, opinionated expertise in API design, including:
  • Idempotency
  • Error handling
  • Versioning strategy
  • Developer onboarding experience
• Fascination with the intersection of gaming and payments.
• Payments/financial infrastructure experience at the API layer (understand transaction flows, failure modes, and what payment APIs should/shouldn’t include).
• Solid understanding of gaming payments (not necessarily shipped AAA titles) and how existing infrastructure is often inadequate.
• Ability to operate within a platform where the API surface is part of a larger system; treat integration points as first-class.
• 6+ years of product management experience with direct ownership of commercial APIs or SDKs, including surfaces that drove adoption and revenue under production load.
• Technical credibility with engineers; can read API specs and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Experience building/integrating monetization or payment systems in games (e.g., rewards loops, battle pass economies, marketplaces, payouts).
• Experience shipping within game engine integration surfaces such as Unity or Unreal.
• Experience in regulated environments; ability to balance compliance guardrails with fast execution.
• Experience with cryptocurrency/blockchain-based payments.
• Owned API reliability targets / SLAs for production systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience owning developer onboarding that improves adoption and reduces integration pain.
• Deep familiarity with developer documentation and integration tooling as part of the product surface.
