About the role

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager (Data Products) at G2’s Data team. You will shape the future of G2’s data products by discovering, developing, and delivering new data offerings that create value for customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for G2’s data products by synthesizing market opportunities, customer feedback, and business goals; identify new data sets to close gaps.
  • Act as the customer voice: run discovery interviews, analyze usage patterns, and translate insights into actionable product opportunities.
  • Partner with key integrations: work with strategic partners (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, AWS) to find integration opportunities, lead co-development, and drive go-to-market.
  • Build new capabilities: lead creation of business intelligence tools and AI-powered data applications, including exploring agentic/agent-based AI for automated insight delivery.
  • Drive alignment and communication: clearly communicate roadmap, priorities, and requirements to leadership and stakeholders; answer questions and provide product/data expertise.
  • Define detailed requirements and project scope for new data products by balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.

Requirements

  • Deep curiosity about data and strong focus on customer problems.
  • Ability to take action quickly (biased toward action) and deliver data product outcomes.
  • Experience translating customer insights into product opportunities and shipping new products.
  • Ability to work effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves (implied by role focus)

  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS data products, BI tooling, and AI-powered data applications.
  • Experience with partner-led integrations and co-development (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot/AWS ecosystem).
