Key Missions / Responsibilities

  • Own the reporting roadmap and drive the foundation for flexible, enterprise-grade reporting.
  • Ensure report accuracy, auditability, and performance.
  • Set data quality and pipeline strategy.
  • Own the roadmap for how Wrapbook structures, validates, and makes accessible production, payroll, and accounting data.
  • Partner with AI-focused PMs to ensure the data substrate is clean and structured for reliable AI use cases.
  • Define the path to scalable data infrastructure.
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers and production/accounting stakeholders.
  • Write clear product requirements and data specifications that engineering can implement without ambiguity.

Requirements

  • Ability to define and govern canonical business metrics upstream of reporting (for data trust).
  • Strong written communication and precise product/data requirement writing.
  • Customer empathy and problem-solving mindset; comfortable working with production accountants and finance executives.
  • Strategic vision + execution rigor (deliver near-term wins while defining long-term data architecture).
  • Technical fluency with data pipelines, data modeling, and reporting infrastructure; SQL proficiency expected.
  • 6+ years of product management experience, including meaningful time owning data-intensive products (analytics/reporting infrastructure/BI-like tools).
  • Systems thinking around how upstream data quality impacts downstream consumers (AI features, customer reports, integrations, and internal tools).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with financial software, payroll, accounting, or entertainment production.
  • Experience building self-serve/configurable reporting (customers shaping views/cadences).
  • Familiarity with embedded analytics patterns.
  • Experience with data tools such as Snowflake and dbt (or similar).
