Role overview
Join MURAL as a Senior Product Manager (Customer Insights). You will take end-to-end ownership of the Customer Insights product area—building user-facing experiences and the underlying data foundation to turn raw usage data into actionable narratives.
Key missions
- Own Customer Insights end-to-end: product strategy, roadmap, and execution.
- Define the usage data layer in partnership with Engineering and Data, including the metrics that anchor renewal and expansion narratives.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to translate insights into narratives that win renewals and unlock expansion.
- Shape MURAL’s perspective on AI-native insights.
Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience.
- Have built at least 2 analytics, reporting, or data products for a business or admin audience.
- Strong data fluency: data models, instrumentation strategy, and comfort collaborating with engineers on freshness, granularity, aggregation, and pipeline tradeoffs.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear product surfaces.
- Experience partnering with Sales and Customer Success on renewal/expansion narratives.
- Experience with enterprise admin or governance products (e.g., IAM, security, compliance, audit).
- Experience designing customer-facing APIs for analytics and reporting.
- Background in BI, analytics platforms, or data products.
Nice-to-haves
- Regular use of AI tools with a strong, grounded point of view on what AI-native data products should look like.
- Strong cross-functional communication across data, design, engineering, and revenue stakeholders.
