Senior Product Manager (Control Plane - Platform)

Role overview

Senior Product Manager for Elastic’s Control Plane (Platform) team, responsible for shaping the team’s vision and roadmap for orchestration products.

Responsibilities

• Define parts of the vision and roadmap for Control Plane, with a focus on new capabilities for management, orchestration, and scaling.
• Collaborate with engineering to prioritize product features and ensure timelines are met.
• Gather market data, customer/community feedback, and translate insights into product direction.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing to prioritize and develop product insights.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Management experience with deep technical products.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and shift between projects based on business priorities.
• Solid familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies, distributed data stores, and developer-focused products.
• Autonomy in a distributed team: drive decisions and results using asynchronous, direct, and transparent communication.
• Demonstrated comfort collaborating in a highly cross-functional, global environment.
• Direct experience with the Elastic Stack or experience with common Elastic Stack use cases (e.g., application search, logging, metrics, APM, business analytics, security analytics, GIS).
• Experience using AI tools day-to-day while owning final outcomes.
• Open-source and/or commercial open-source company familiarity.
