Senior Product Manager (Control Plane, Platform)

Role Overview

Senior Product Manager for Elastic’s Control Plane (Platform) team. Own parts of the product vision and roadmap for orchestration products, working closely with engineering and go-to-market partners.

Responsibilities

• Define parts of the vision and roadmap for Control Plane, focused on new capabilities for management, orchestration, and scaling.
• Collaborate with engineering to prioritize product features and ensure delivery against timelines.
• Gather market data, customer feedback, and product usage insights to develop and refine product ideas.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with deep technical products.
• Proven ability to use AI to accelerate work while still owning final outcomes.
• Strong execution mindset with the ability to work autonomously and drive results in a distributed team using asynchronous communication.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills; can context-switch across projects based on business priorities.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed data stores, and developer-focused products.
• Experience with Elastic Stack or common use cases such as application search, logging, metrics, APM, business analytics, security analytics, or GIS.

Nice to Have

• Comfort working in a highly cross-functional, global, distributed environment.
• Open source software and/or working for open source companies.
