About the role
Role overview
Senior Product Manager at Chromatic, owning company objectives to improve the platform. You’ll partner with customers and cross-functional teams to define product enhancements and drive them end-to-end from discovery to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision and end-to-end business objectives spanning multiple engineering teams
- Synthesize ideas, business goals, customer feedback, and product analytics (including insights from marketing/sales) into clear feature specifications
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing to ship high-quality software that matters to current and future customers
- Manage analytics instrumentation across products and use it to make data-driven product decisions
Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience, preferably with SaaS companies
- Strong written and verbal communication, able to provide clear updates with context in a distributed/asynchronous environment
- Technical background sufficient to understand how developers use Chromatic’s tools
- Evidence-driven mindset using customer feedback and analytics to guide decisions
- Strong ownership: lead the full feature lifecycle from conception through release
- Growth mindset; confident in pushing back on ideas and handling critique constructively
Nice to have
- Previously a front-end software engineer
- Experience in developer tooling
- Strong interest in UI/design and the front-end ecosystem
- Experience in distributed, remote-first teams

- Fully remote
- Based in mainland US or Canada
