Senior Product Manager

Role overview

Senior Product Manager at Chromatic, owning company objectives to improve the platform. You’ll partner with customers and cross-functional teams to define product enhancements and drive them end-to-end from discovery to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and end-to-end business objectives spanning multiple engineering teams
• Synthesize ideas, business goals, customer feedback, and product analytics (including insights from marketing/sales) into clear feature specifications
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing to ship high-quality software that matters to current and future customers
• Manage analytics instrumentation across products and use it to make data-driven product decisions

Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience, preferably with SaaS companies
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to provide clear updates with context in a distributed/asynchronous environment
• Technical background sufficient to understand how developers use Chromatic’s tools
• Evidence-driven mindset using customer feedback and analytics to guide decisions
• Strong ownership: lead the full feature lifecycle from conception through release
• Growth mindset; confident in pushing back on ideas and handling critique constructively

Nice to have

• Previously a front-end software engineer
• Experience in developer tooling
• Strong interest in UI/design and the front-end ecosystem
• Experience in distributed, remote-first teams

• Based in mainland US or Canada
